Project Assistant, Making Local Food Work
Two year fixed-term contract • £17-20,000

£10 million funding by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund has given The Plunkett Foundation's Making Local Food Work programme the potential to change lives in rural communities across the country. A groundbreaking initiative, the programme aims to increase access to healthy, local food through numerous co-operative and social enterprises.

You will be the first point of contact and information service on specific projects on the Making Local Food Work programme via phone, email and the website. Liaising with programme partners you'll actively market and advertise project services.

You will provide a high standard of administrative support and arrange and service meetings and programme events as well as prepare correspondence, reports and other documents.

With administrative experience, good working knowledge of MS Office and strong communications skills, you'll be internet savvy and ideally have a good understanding of the UK's rural communities or local food sector, and would like to play a key part in this unique initiative.
